What's happening

• The Department provides regional bus services for passengers travelling between Kangaroo Island and Adelaide via the SeaLink ferry. The bus service between Adelaide and Cape Jervis, and Goolwa and Cape Jervis is operated by LinkSA, and the bus service between Penneshaw and Kingscote is operated by Peninsula Coaches.
• As a result of the new SeaLink ferry timetable coming into effect later this year, the regional bus connection services timetable requires some changes.
• This provides us an opportunity for us to review AM Peak/Off Peak connecting services and give Kangaroo Island residents the chance to have their say on whether they would prefer to have the same bus timetable all year round or are happy with the current format of a difference in the connection times for Peak and Off Peak seasons.
• We have developed two indicative timetables to seek your preference around having more or less time to spend in Adelaide, and more or less time waiting for the ferry at Cape Jervis (please see overleaf for more details).
